Me, again

It didn't take long to do this one. I spent 2.5 hours for the sky and sand, then another 2 for the girl. First, I had to do an acrylic ground of titanium white and phthalo blue. Then the sky, clouds, shadows, sand, footsteps, sea, waves and froth. Now the girl with the dark skin. Tadah! Happy Summer 2018! I fulfilled another #ArtSherpa tutorial!!!

From a blank 14" x 18" canvas board. Notice my new (cleaner) plastic mat! To a pencil sketch. Have to get the blocking right. To the skies of light ultramarine blue... Now for some trees in the background using a narrow round brush. To some lion cub colors of burnt sienna, burnt umber, yellow ochre and white. Also, some logs and shadows. At this point, I had to pause. What 2 hours of an otherwise idle afternoon could accomplish! A face and some logs! I call this "PF" for Pre-Fur! I consider this furry and done! March 17.
