President Rodrigo Duterte's Merciless War on His Own People

A few weeks ago on March 11, former President of the Philippines Rodrigo Roa Duterte (2016-2022) coming home from an unexpected visit to Hong Kong was detained at Villamor Airbase, issued an arrest warrant by the InterPol (International Police) and then chartered to The Hague Netherlands, where he will be tried for Crimes Against Humanity at the International Criminal Court better known as the ICC.

Oh my Godd!!!

I didn’t realize how large the coverage and utterly pernicious this Operation TOKHANG (War against Drugs) was until I saw these actual footages now as I really wasn’t interested in watching the local news a few years ago and would rather watch CNN. Now things have changed a bit for me as I am more interested in native news what with another boob job as World Leader on the International front (this time DT).

It’s heart-wrenching to say the least with an estimated 30,000 unreported killings. So many precious lives, even if they belonged to the casual and poverty-stricken street bystanders were mercilessly taken away and for what…for appeasement of this man’s raison d’etre.
After being locked in prison for his remaining years where he is clearly headed, may he finally meet his match in hell where he says he is prepared to go as adequately as he gave his orders to kill without pity.

To commemorate the Ides of March which coincides with Duterte's capture, I made this AI-generated image from a doodle I did of the COIN commemorating the assassination of Julius Ceasar, former General, Statesman and subsequent Dictator of the Roman Empire.
