Laughing Pepper Step by Step

 Burnt umber ground.  Reds blacks and oranges for the smile.  Adding the green stem for his top.  A little cyan & white bg treatment. The seeds are its teeth. Almost done. Pareidolia is what's referred to here, the imagined perception of a pattern or meaning where it does not actually exist,  as in considering the moon to have human features. Pic source: Twitter.  Painted a rainbow of parallel colors  Added a radiating light in the center  Added some birch tree trunks in mid-gray tones, 7 total.  Added some highlights and texture to the trees.  Added the texture of black to the trees  Added some cool branches Added the rainbow grass and rainbow leaves.
