WALK WALK WALK

*Did you know ?* ▪️Both  the   legs together  have  50%   of the   nerves    of   the  human  body,  50%   of  the   blood  vessels  and  50%  of   the   blood   is flowing  through   them. *Walk* ▪️ It  is  the  largest  circulatory  network  that connects  the   body.  *So Walk daily* ▪️Only when  the feet are  healthy then  the convention current  of blood  flows ,  smoothly,   so people who  have  strong  leg muscles  will  definitely have  a strong  heart. *Walk* ▪️Aging  starts  from  the  feet  upwards. *Walk* ▪️As  a   person  gets older, the  accuracy & speed  of  transmission  of instructions   between the  brain and   the  legs decreases, unlike  when a  person  is  young. *Please Walk* ▪️In   addition,   the   so-called   Bone  Fertilizer Calcium will  sooner  or later  be  lost  with  the passage  of  time,  making  the   elderly  more  prone  to   bone fractures.  *WALK* ▪️Bone  fractures  in  the  elderly   can  easily  trigger  a  series   of complications, especia

My so-called Guardian Neighbor, the Filipino Santa

Image
aka Jess Ramos What is a Kapre: This Filipino tree demon looks like a great mixture of human and ape.  It is generally a giant, 8 feet tall, with black or brown, long course hair including a beard and eyes that burn like a cigar tip .  Its favorite activities include smoking cigars, misleading travelers, tricking little children wandering around the woods at night (honestly, why are children always wandering the woods?), gambling, and drinking.  This beast is often compared with the North American Bigfoot, or the Yeti.  They have giant tree-thick legs, long fingernails and sharp teeth.   It is generally a prankster that enjoys confusing people, sometimes even taking away little bits of their memories so they can’t find their way home , and is not particularly violent (like most Filipino monsters).  Also known as the Tikbalang or Agta in the Visayan dialect.  Their biggest fashion statement is wearing a bahag (much like shorts), but beyond that they roam the forests au-naturale.  Fo

Home is where the Heart is (Not the Hurt)

Not that I’m bragging.  It’s typically not my style to do so but if my fellow countrymen, heck, even just the neighbors who keep watch over (or maybe just snoop around) what I do fail to give me the slightest appreciation or simple genuine support (as they would rather find fault and look for “holes” in my character); other peoples of the world certainly will and I in turn will eventually return the flavour. As I see it, this place is not the place of fruitful interaction for me. It never has.   I keep initiating every fucking conversation. The natives are unresponsive, uninitiated and almost dead in their spirits, imaginations, sensibilities. I don’t want to keep a life constantly compensating for the inadequacies of others. It’s exhausting to say the least and leaves me with a feeling of emptiness which brings me to a state of abysmal ennui.    When I leave finally and decidedly, I will have learned from all the negativities and general absurdities abundant in such a needy, lost

Switch Games Now

Image
… on Sale! Well, it seems Steam is not my only hub for video games. First of all, despite the impressive specs of my iMac M1 , the Mac in general isn’t built for hardcore gaming unlike Microsoft’s Windows which my nephew Rocco uses in his handsomely gadget-filled room and is so proud of toying around with. I don’t have the latest version of PlayStation and I don’t intend to buy one just because it’s the latest high-end console craze. I already have two Nintendo Switches in my possession, the regular one with neon joy-cons and the Lite version in yellow and I’m currently content with my acquisitions. As a matter of fact, I don’t play with them to their full potential. I’m a self-professed casual gamer and I like to play at my own pace. It makes me appreciate the games even more when I don’t act like a mad gamer…. like I used to maybe? *It's even becoming more evident now that I just like to buy games for the sake of buying them.* Anyway, Nintendo eshop recently had a sale which

GRIS

“ A fashion-icon of a game!” “Game genre: Trial and Error just like in math 🙂.” ---Adô                                                                                                     Today, I would like to rave about a recent game I bought at Steam after my 3-month free subscription from Apple Arcade eventually waned which I felt I needed to fill in or sub (like what’s a good M1 Mac hardware for anyway?) It’s called Gris and it’s basically a 2D puzzle-based platformer of a sole feminine protagonist or character that goes through a multitude of challenges that don’t seem obvious at first. In one of the first scenes, you’re given the simple option of walking either left or right using the A or D keys on your keyboard and in many instances, you’ll ask yourself wtf? In fact, puzzles are hidden in plain sight.  Gris , as I understand means Grey in French or if you prefer Gray . It involves a solitary girl going through a colorful emotional journey which starts out with a black and
