Me, again

  Pencil sketch on a sketchbook of the profile. After a flesh ground, painted in the face with similar flesh tones on canvas. Painted in the rest of the surreal image. Made some final touches/minor revisions and it's done! Apparently my friend and I had to figure out a few more kinks. Nope. She wanted a sheer dress.

Saiyans  ( サイヤ 人 じん   Saiya-jin )   are a   race   of extraterrestrials in the   Dragon Ball   anime   and   manga   and its adaptive sequels,   Dragon Ball Z ,   Dragon Ball GT   and   Dragon Ball Super . In the series, the Saiyans from   Universe 7   are a naturally aggressive warrior race who were supposedly striving to be the strongest in the universe, while the Saiyans from   Universe 6   are protectors. Nearly all of the Saiyans from Universe 7 were   obliterated   by   Frieza   before the start of the   Dragon Ball  series . The Saiyans play a central role in the series once it is revealed that the protagonist,  Goku , is actually a Saiyan sent to  Earth  to escape the destruction of  Planet Vegeta . The name is a pun on y ajin  (野人) which means "wildman", and an anagram of  yasai  (野菜) which means "vegetable". The suffix  -jin  means "person". A ground of raw umber, burnt Sienna, some red and some blue done in 3 coats. Chalked in the figure of Ryu after drying the canvas. Some flesh tones. More flesh and some kimono. A study in creases.   With a ground of primary red for teenage love,  chalked in the face and started blocking in the flesh tones. Started working on the hair and face highlights. Adjusted eyes and lips and nose for a more  Zac-y  look. I love it already. Darkened collar with Deep yellow. With a few doodles on the side, my pop art is done! Happy Easter everyone!
