Sunflowers Still Life Acrylic Step by Step

Image
Cropped image This is a still life painting of sunflowers from an image found in Google. Practicing Ginger Cook's techniques and colors. As prep, made a dark ground in burnt sienna, indian yellow and blues. No blacks. White underpainting for the petals and vase. I just love how the leaves turned out. Kinda ducky yellow for the petals. Something's off. An orangey look for the petals all over and some highlights. Added the seed pods now. Taken with an iPad Pro, hence the vivid colors! I'm done!
