Me, again

Ground of yellow ochre, naples yellow and a bit of titanium white after chalking in the 3 sunflowers. Added the seed pods with burnt sienna. Painted in the petals with primary, deep and Indian yellows. Lightened the seed pods a bit with naples yellow. Added some green leaves for contrast. Finished the seed pods and darkened the lower part. Added purple flowers here and there. Deepened the color of the petals with some oranges. Done I believe!

 With pink chalk and red paint, started painting in the silhouette of the rose.  With pthalo blue and red and yellow, painted in the dark background.  With tints and shades of red, painted in the rose petals. Background, leaves and retouches with the petals. Red Rose done!  Thanks to John Magne Lisondra for this tutorial . It was a limited color palette of red, pthalo blue, primary yellow and titanium white. Further tweaked with oranges, cad red medium and yellow. From a tip by Dear to my Art FB page.

 Underpaintings with a limited colored palette of pthalo blue, primary yellow, cad red, raw umber and titanium white.  Darkened the underpaintings a bit Added the flowers and leaves  Finalized the vase and added blue markings Painted in the flowers and leaves.
