Red Rose Step by Step

 With pink chalk and red paint, started painting in the silhouette of the rose.

 With pthalo blue and red and yellow, painted in the dark background.

 With tints and shades of red, painted in the rose petals.

Background, leaves and retouches with the petals. Red Rose done!

It was a limited color palette of red, pthalo blue, primary yellow and titanium white.

Further tweaked with oranges, cad red medium and yellow.
